Families tour our refreshed art and music studios

The first families have walked through our newly refurbished creative wing — and the choir gave them a warm welcome.

Over the holidays, our creative wing got the refresh it deserved. New light, new instruments, and walls that are already filling with the kind of gloriously messy, fearless art only children make.

At the opening, our choir welcomed families with two songs they had been quietly rehearsing for weeks. There were a few proud tears in the audience — which is rather the point of a school choir.

Every child performs

We believe the arts are not a reward for finishing the “real” work — they are the real work. Music, painting and drama teach focus, courage and teamwork in ways a worksheet never could. So at Santo Yoseph, every child paints, every child performs, and every child is heard.

The studios are open to visiting families on visit mornings. Come and see what your child could make here.

Come see a Tuesday morning. That’s the real story.

Reading about a school only goes so far. The best way to know Santo Yoseph is to stand in it — hear the corridor, meet the teachers, watch a class at work.

Tours run most Tuesday and Saturday mornings and take about an hour. Children are very welcome.
